Technology & Change

AI series with Vivek Patwardhan and Deepa

At a recent client interaction, participants asked me what AI really was and did?  They had used AI but not found it life altering. And they were wondering what the hype was all about and what they were missing.

I started explaining AI as self improving and trained on large data sets and stopped mid-sentence… Why am I making this so hard?

This question is the reason this series exists. Making AI accessible to everyone.

Most AI writing assumes some comfort with technology. It builds on jargon and scenarios that are not yet common for all of us. AI needed to be simplified for it to be truly useful.

I went looking for one of the best storytellers I know. Mr. Vivek Patwardhan. Sir needs no introduction. A luminary in the field of people and HR. His published books include People at Work: The Untold Story of Labour Management Relations and The Lulu Duologues. He currently brings lesser heard voices in the world of work to the forefront (link).  He brings his favourite Lulu (the parrot) and Nina (the myna) to this series on AI: Lulu is high on AI (Avian Intelligence 🙂 )

Join us on the three blogs published so far in this series. Every blog offers not just a tool, but a deeper thought on the skills and mindset needed to thrive with AI.

1. How can we learn better with AI

This post explores why learning sticks and how to ensure AI helps us learn better. Link to the post

2. Image generation with AI

What are some things to bear in mind for better results in creating images with AI. Link to post.

3. Review AI’s work!

The most common mistake we see leaders make is confuse AI’s output to be the final one, instead of treating it as a draft to build on. This post captures mindsets and tips to break this habit. Link to post.

We hope you find this co-created series on AI useful. Stay tuned for more topics in – Lulu Is High On AI!
